Registration At Melody School of Music we understand that needs and desires may change over time, so we only ask that our students commit to a minimum of 4 introductory lessons. Normally, the school offers sessions in blocks of 8 lessons; however, when new students just sign up, we give them the option to purchase only 4 introductory lessons. This gives them the opportunity to get acquainted with the school and the teacher. All payments have to be done at least one week in advance. This is necessary in order to ensure that the student is scheduled for the lesson and that his/her specific time slot is reserved. A booked lesson can be rescheduled with a replacement 'make-up lesson' with a prior notice of a minimum of 24 hours. In the summer, we advise students and parents to pre-book lessons in advance for September in order to secure the day and time they like.
