Evan has been playing guitar and drums for over 20 years and has been teaching private music lessons for much of his career. Throughout his musical journey, he has studied consistently with private instructors, developing a strong foundation in both performance and music education.

 

Evan holds a Bachelor of Music degree from Humber Polytechnic, where he studied music theory, ear training, sight reading, technique, and other areas of musicianship. His formal education has greatly influenced his approach to teaching and has helped him develop a clear, practical, and accessible way of introducing students to guitar and drums.

 

Evan's teaching philosophy is creative, intuitive, and centered around the individual needs of each student. He believes that every student learns differently, and his goal is to help each one progress from point A to point B in a way that feels clear, achievable, and enjoyable.
