Ivan is a highly experienced violin, viola, guitar and piano teacher and performer, with decades of international experience across Europe, Asia, and North America. Throughout his career, he has performed with orchestras, chamber ensembles, and in musical theatre productions, and has made appearances in film and television. Ivan has also toured extensively as part of an acoustic duo.

Ivan is a prominent figure in the Greater Toronto Area music scene. He currently serves as the Principal Violinist of the Kindred Spirits Orchestra, Principal Second Violin of the Cathedral Bluffs Symphony Orchestra, and Principal Viola of the Casa Loma Orchestra. Ivan also performs with the Rubato String Quartet, the Arco D’Oro Quintet, and various other orchestras and ensembles.

As a teacher, Ivan draws on his extensive professional experience to offer private lessons in violin, viola, guitar and piano to students of all ages. He works with both adult and younger students, tailoring his approach to meet their individual needs. He has helped adult students surpass their musical goals, while guiding younger children in discovering their own objectives and building confidence through music. His approach is designed to help students develop their technical skills, musical expression, and confidence, fostering a lifelong love for music.
