Diego’s own music journey started 21 years ago. During his adolescence he took electric guitar and vocal lessons while also developing his songwriting skills. In 2011, he enrolled in Escuela Moderna De Música y Danza (Santiago de Chile) where he studied music theory, composition, musical arrangements, piano and music culture. It was there that he learned how to compose different musical genres and became a multi instrument player. His study of bass has allowed him to dive deep into the concept of groove and how the rhythm section works.  And picking up the ukulele gave him a fresh perspective on songwriting, creative workflows and playing popular music.

In 2017, Diego earned 2 diplomas at the 101 Training Center (Santiago de Chile), acquiring a wide knowledge in music production and studio recording techniques. Through this training, Diego learned to work with various digital audio workstations, record different musical instruments, get familiar with studio gear and communicate properly with musicians when collaborating. Since moving to Canada, Diego has also studied live sound, music business, contracts, concert promotion, music marketing and more at the Harris Institute of Arts (Toronto).
