Nolan – Guitar, Piano & Drum Teacher

Nolan is a multi-instrumentalist, composer, and professional performer originally from Mississauga, ON who has since relocated to the west end of Toronto.

​

He is a Humber Jazz and Seneca IMP College graduate. He studied guitar and piano during his time at Humber college and has picked up drums in his free time as well. Nolan teaches guitar, piano and drums with a focus on learning songs in a lighthearted method that covers a wide range of techniques and genres.

Nolan offers a customizable teaching style that is tailored to each individual student. He teaches classical pieces using repertoire books with a focus on reading and technique, starting with learning notes and slowly building musical skills in a traditional manner. Students may also choose to learn popular songs, starting with simple chords and riffs evolving their skills in a style which will see faster results. Nolan creates a stress-free environment in the classroom that encourages students to have fun with their instrument.

Since graduating, Nolan has been performing in numerous bands; most notably his band "Cootie Catcher" which has frequently toured Canada and the United States.
